Medigap Plan C

Medigap Plan C provides all the basic benefits of Plan A plus coverage for the Medicare Part A deductible ($1,024 per benefit period) and Part B deductible ($135 per year). It also provides benefits for skilled nursing facility care and medically necessary care in a foreign country. All for the low cost of $107.09 per month.

Part A Hospital Services
$1,024 initial hospital deductible each benefit period.	X
$256 a day copayment for days 61-90 in a hospital.	X
$512 a day copayment for days 91-150 (Lifetime reserve days). 100% of Medicare allowable expenses for additional 365 days after Medicare hospital benefits stop completely.	X
Calendar year blood deductible (first 3 pints of blood) if the deductible is not met by replacement blood.	X
$128 per day for days 21-100 in a Skilled Nursing Facility.	X
Part B Physician Care and Medical Services
$135 Part B annual deductible.	X
20% of Medicare approved amount (Part B coinsurance) and 20% of Medicare approved charges for durable medical equipment (after $135 Part B deductible is met).	X
Additional Benefits Not Covered By Medicare
Benefits received for medically necessary emergency care received in a foreign country.	X
