WAITING PERIOD FOR MAJOR SERVICES

Preventive services (oral exams, x-rays, cleanings, fluoride treatments) will be covered from your paid effective effective date. There is a six month waiting period from your effective date of coverage for Class 2 and Class 3 services. After you've been on the dental plan for six months, you'll receive a new dental ID card that will include the Class 2 and 3 major services.

Class 2 services include filllings, inlays, onlays, root canals, periodontal scaling and planing and extractions. Class 3 services include dentals, partials and bridges. Orthodontics (braces) are not covered.
